Dear lovely reader

It is that time of year again when we emerge from our wintry cocoons, ready to embrace a new season with hope for the future! We are very excited to start sharing our Adorables Newsletter with you, and when is a better time than with the onset of spring!

This winter was particularly long and cold, with some added gloom. It felt like cobwebs settled in my heart, and lest I want to deal with unwelcome spiders sipping tea and exchanging terror tactics, it is time to unweb and untangle them! If, like me, you feel that you have lost a bit of your sparkle during the long winter season, it truly is time to step into the sunshine and trust the Lord to renew those old bones! While we are being renewed, it might be a good idea to look around and see what we can literally renew, reuse and recycle in our homes - get rid of not only the metaphorical cobwebs, but also the literal ones! After all, it is not called spring cleaning for nothing...

We all know the famous spring quote: out with the old, in with the new. As you embark on your spring cleaning and unpack your baby or toddler's cupboard, consider selling some items in our Preloved section on our website! What is Preloved? Read all about it in this article. There is nothing as liberating as making some space in your cupboards and taking stock of what you might have been keeping there for the moths to snack on.

Another way to get rid of the winter dust, is to invite a friend or neighbor for tea. In our case, it means teaming up with other local businesses and taking hands as we endeavor to support our own proudly South African crafts(wo)men. We are excited to introduce you to the Beatus range, baby vellies and many other wonderful brands! Watch this space! Not forgetting our own, very special Adorables shop, stacked with the best quality yarn and baby items (see website).

Let me end our first newsletter by leaving you with this wish from all of us here at Adorables: May it become a beautiful spring in your heart as you enter the coming month, and may hope bloom where you thought nothing could ever grow again. Blessings and all things wonderful! Until next time, bloom and grow!
